I like this! But then I absolutely love my avalanche. I use the midgate occasionally and even bought a tent for the box and camped in it this summer. It's my favorite truck but it unfortunately just doesn't have the towing capacity I need. If it could handle my car hauler I would keep it forever!

Edit; As for mileage mine isn't that good, a bit less than an average 5.3 1500, which was disappointing because I specifically bought a 2wd version. I chalk it up to the fact the previous owner installed 10 ply duratracs and they are really heavy tires with a lot of rolling resistance. It looks like a 4x4 and at the time the tires made sense for towing but in hindsight probbaly not the best fit.
