Might need to pay in order for someone to take an albatross. Then bring in one or two useful players with the cap they clear up.
The easiest anchor contract to move (with an asset added as incentive) remains Monahan.
Maybe this is where Treliving can make use of his incredible depth in goal (organizationally).
With the 6.35 cleared, you can pursue a guy like Toffoli, Hertl, Forsberg or even Phil the Thrill.
Or two less expensive middle six players that bring more offensively than Pitlick and Ritchie, which there will be an abundance of since there are many players are better than those guys.
