Here is one thought that crossed my mind: Spoiler! Dexter is confronted by Angela as being the Bay Harbour Butcher. He kills her to stay out of prison and protect his growing relationship with Harrison. Harrison finds out that Dexter killed Angela but she didn’t fit the code. He decides that he needs to follow the code and Dexter needs to die. Not sure it would be a popular way to end the show though.
