Andrew Brunette was quoted after the last game saying he thought Bennett played excellently, and did the game before as well, noting it was a shame he was out with a stomach bug for the one game.
I know it hurts to see and wonder "what if", but it's still true none the less. Bennett is a great player.

They're just rationalizing ####ing up the highest ever pick in Calgary Flames history not panning out here due to continuous terrible coaching and management. Easier to swallow the bitter pill of him playing to his expected potential somewhere else.
