Haha, I was just thinking about that one as people complained about slow films. Go watch anything from the 70's, you might be in for a surprise.
But also, Barry Lyndon is famous for its use of all natural light for every single scene. I won't bore people with how impossible that is, but trust me, it's a herculean task to make an entire film with natural light.
