Just because there is no ability to buy it off the website doesn't mean that it's not legit. You see this a lot with higher end furniture. You typically don't just buy this type of furniture by adding it to your basket, you buy it through a product dealer or interior design.
And yes, furniture can get this expensive. I remember my wife (interior designer) saying she's speced out custom coffee tables that cost $50K. It's nuts, but there are people out there who will pay it.
