Off the top of my head I'd say that, while the above is true, a LOT of those shots were poor ones...Flames took a lot from 25-45' out, nobody (or not enough) in front...and a lot of them were "one and done", so no rebounds of use and not much after the shot.
They had a few terrific-pressure shifts...but still came out empty-handed. Pressure is no good if you're not blasting crap at the goal; continual pressure along the boards is mostly about getting defenders out of position and Boston didn't give them much that way.
