Not concerned at all. At all.

2 inches, twice, seperated from RW vs Carolina, and other games where the opponents were fortunate to get to OT in the first place, so Flames effort and matchup vs other teams are just fine.

Top line created a half decent chance every shift yesterday, it really is amazing to see making some chance out of a couple passes and skill moves. That will click instead of a MT post last night or a couple Hallmark saves he had no idea he saved, and games like that go the other way.

Markstrom mishap on the first goal, Backlund softness and laziness on the second on a nothing chance from the Bruins that turned to a goal because Backlund was out of position and afraid of being anywhere physical with a player smaller then him.

Generally this year, you don't see those types of mistakes with the Flames this year and that was the difference in the score last night.

Mang doesn't look like setting the world on fire. Dube had a clear cut chance and time fires it in the stomach. So some secondary scoring would help, as usual, but the Flames arenjt being dominated or even beaten over 60 mins, effort wise or possession wise.

At some points that work will come to fruition in results.
