Despite taking a stand against the newly former CPHLFA, Devils GM Mike Walsh unveiled a new Devil mascot prior to todays game with the Wings.
"We have had an increase in the "younger fan" so far this season. We feel that this is because the older generation would rather sit at home eat their donuts and watch us on the television. So, as a token of our appreciation we have created a new mascot. We have not come up with a name yet and are having a name the mascot competition. All fans are encouraged to enter, the fan coming up with the best name will receive a team autographed jersey, as well as 2 free tickets to any up coming game." Devils GM Walsh said. Walsh continued to say this has nothing to do with trying to please the new fan association, we are just trying to create some excitement for the fans since the team hasn't created much lately."
