The LA Kings are barely staying out of the West basement. I'd make fun of the Flames here, but they have a game in hand, and it's game day. The post Crosby era has begun, and the Kings have been laying in wait, revving up to play a Cole Trickle and start in the back of the pack only to blaze to glory. They will be at full throttle when the puck drops, and I'm sure it will be as if the Wild are standing still.
