They are/were also on two different places Maybe it's harder to get to someone in a womens prison. Maybe she was better protected after Epsteins death. Maybe it was thought killing Ghiswell would have been pushing things too far. Two deaths is a lot harder to brush under the carpet than one.
I don't claim to be sure. But I feel fine about saying that I see Epstein being murdered as lot more likely than a suicide.

Maxwell knows all the things Epstein knows. She witnessed the rich and famous people with Epstein. If anything, it appears she had a more active role in the recruitment process.
What's stopping her from ratting on these powerful people that supposedly killed Epstein?
The identified Epstein as more likely to talk, killed him, but then let Maxwell's trial proceed? Seems like a bold move.
