Regardless, I don’t think there’s any place in todays NHL for predatory hits against a defenceless player. It’s not a hockey play, it had no benefit to his team or the game, it didn’t effectively separate the man from the puck, it was most certainly not the best available play to regain possession of the puck. Literally the only purpose of that hit was to injure another player.

If pro and college football can introduce targeting, so can the nhl. There is no place in the game for hits whose sole purpose is to injure.

If you need to see people attempt to injure each other with no consideration to actually playing a sport, go watch MMA. Injuring the other guy is the purpose of that sport. It is not the purpose of hockey.
O please. We see hits like this all the time where the player pops right back up. This wouldn't even be a issue if no injury.

It was a hard legal hit with no intent to injure. It was a hockey play where the hit was meant to seperate the puck from player. Let's not pretend this is a Matt Cook headhunting hit.

Truoba barley even moved to hit him . He basically just stopped moving. Let's be real a large part of this is Khaira has a history of head issues . Like the Romonav hit on him wasn't that hard and basically just walked him with his ass to the mid section and hobled him. This wasn't even a play at half speed for either player.

Fernand is a great example of not being able to take a hit at one point. By the time he went on ltir he couldn't take a shoulder to shoulder check we see 10? 20 times a game? Everyone's different .

This is the hockey equivalent of a boxer having a "glass jaw"
