Ha, I wish. The builder decided to put porcelain tile from floor to ceiling in on the wall with the fireplace. Made finding the studs absolutely delightful.
@TorqueDog I ended up getting a soundbar mount off of Amazon that attached to the tv mount as you suggested. Just got the mantle installed today and will be taking the tv off tomorrow to fit it, now that I know what I have for clearance.
