We went to Jinbar (korean fusion, bar style food) for dinner on the weekend, and I want to give a shout out to their pizzas. While the toppings and flavors are not your traditional pizza toppings, they were really well done and actually worked quite well. I don't generally tend to try crazy toppings (Hawaiian is as far out as I'll go), but the Beef Bulgogi pizza was surprisingly really well done. The beef was high quality ribeye sliced thinly, and marinated perfectly, so it's not too sweet or not too salty. The mix of bulgogi, sliced serrano peppers, and mozzarella/cheddar cheese blend and the fresh tomato sauce was amazing.
They have other interesting pizza toppings like sweet corn and honey butter chips (Koreans would relate to this flavor combo), spicy Buldak fried chicken (this is seriously spicy), and a mushroom pizza.
We went here to try out their Korean Fried Chicken, but ended up loving the pizza more.

The chef is Jinhee Lee from Top Chef Canada, and she also was the chef at Foreign Concept. They also have an extensive cocktail menu, as well as some house draft beer which is pretty decent.

If you're up for a unique pizza place, I'd highly recommend Jinbar.

I love Jin Bar. Shout out to the honey butter chip, corn, and jalapeno pizza. I love it.
