Has to be for a full 30 days or 10 games, since that is the minimum for LTIR. What star player will consent to sit in the press box for a whole month leading up to the playoffs?

In fact, the Lightning activated him off IR right at the end of his expected recovery time. It just happened to be after the end of the regular season.
