I'm a small business owner, and the only reviews I'll generally leave are 5* or 1*
I try and remember to leave 5* reviews when I have a good experience, and reserve 1* for things that are absolutely terrible/not delivered/fraudulent. It isn't common. If I get a 3-4* experience I generally won't leave a review. In FG's situation I agree it doesn't sound like it went perfectly, but they did come and fix it. Everything really objectionable (the yelling/warranty contract) happened after the negative review. The business owner absolutely should have dealt with it better (a polite response detailing that everything was fixed would be better), but I understand the frustration.
As an aside, Ive never been more frustrated as a business owner than with people who leave a 3* review with the comment "good." That is someone who actively hurt my business because they have an "I don't give out a perfect score for just doing a good job, thats the bare minimum" type attitude.
