Default unethical business experience *LONG READ*

I was in a dispute last summer because I made a purchase and the company broke the fair trading act, I talked to someone at alberta consumer protection and was made aware they definitely broke the law.
It was a hot tub company, I don't want to mention the name here, pm if you're interested.

I'm contemplating lodging a complaint, maybe some input would help me decide. In the end they replaced the parts and "fixed" the mistake, but i'm not sure how I feel about not warning people and it happens again.

I bought a refurbished hot tub, they said they will have it leak tested and cleaned, they promised it would arrive clean.

Fast forward 3 weeks and we received it, all the parts, cushions, and surface of the tub had a yellow biofilm layer, human oils and skin basically ...disgusting! E asked for them to clean it and they wanted to bill us for cleaning, they were rude but begrudgingly cleaned it.

Then i realize they told us the wrong amperage after I paid an electrician, again they fixed it. They fixed that, cleaned and filled tub and left. I check on it an hour later low and behold it leaks...they came out and fixed it.

They fixed their mistakes but I wasn't too impressed so I left a review, i was polite and honest and listed the good and the bad, and at the end I said that they made mistakes and they fixed them, if I had to do it again i'd probably go somewhere else and I gave them a 3 out of 5 rating.

Next morning we get a call, it's the owner my caregiver answered and he's yelling and swearing, he then says "If You don't take the review down today I will make you look like an ass" I said i don't have to take it down.

An hour later i get an email from the secretary "see attached warranty contract that you signed" I read the attachment and it looks different, there's a paragraph that doesn't look familiar, i located my original signed paper contract and sure enough that paragraph wasn't there, they're trying to pull something.

The new paragraph says abusive behavior, including leaving a negative review will result in immediate cancellation of your warranty. They're trying to blackmail me, how can they force people to keep quiet.

I get another email and explained that the owner raised his voice, used profanity and threatened to make me look bad, of course she said "he would never do that , you guys are lying " (I wish i recorded the call) She also said that my review is slander and you have 24 hours to take it down or your warranty is gone.

I haven't received the included cover yet so i took the review down in fear of not only losing my warranty but never getting the cover.

I still have the review if anyone wants to read it, it sounds odd that they would be so angry about a review that wasn't even rude and listed the good parts too, but it happened.

Should I forget about it and move on or lodge a complaint like the BBB and consumer protection act recommended?
