Any person of high/celebrity status that I've seen manage to repair their reputation issued some kind of apology or remorse for said behaviour then took an extended period of time out of the public eye, which allowed people to cool off and disengage emotionally from whatever it is they did. Then they came back some time later while making a better impression, with improved actions.
Don't know who Kane is getting his personal/professional advice from, but he's either being directed very poorly or he's taking no advice and just running with his reactions and poor instincts.
He's beyond the point of being able to defend himself. It's a losing battle, and no perfect combination of words will squeeze any kind of win out of this for him, especially on social media.
Give up, take your lumps, serve your time in the AHL, come back an improved person. Only road for him now.
