Kris Bryant is going to make some decent money and will be 20 per season, at least. He is probably looking for a five to seven year commitment. I would be happy with the lower end of both spectrums.
I wouldn't mind just going back to the well and bringing in Franklin Barreto for a three year deal, and let him platoon with Espinal to see who comes out the winner.
If you are looking for a potential closer, Kenley Jansen (2 years/10ish per), is still out there. He has been linked to the Blue Jays this off-season.
And the 'show me' type of reliever, there are a lot on the market this year. Some will be dirt cheap for what they bring. Two that interest me as long men, Collin McHugh and Jimmy Nelson.
On the starting pitcher front, Zack Grienke would be an intriguing name to platoon with Pearson and provide some insurance as the fifth starter. He's pushing 40, but still garners a lot of respect and has an arsenal that doesn't rely entirely on velocity. Comes in at 10M for one year (there abouts), so not bank breaking. Offer him two years with a transition into coaching, or the front office.
