I certainly hope those of you looking to justify adding Kane to the Flames weren't hypocritically decrying Blackhawks management in the Kyle Beach situation earlier this year. No, it isn't acceptable to look past grievous moral failings in order to better one's chances to succeed and win. That attitude is what enables the users and abusers of the world to prosper, and they will continue to prosper until the "winning is everything" attitude deservedly dies.
