This #### is f***ing depressing, man. We have maybe 20 seconds of offensive zone time with the puck on a Penguins stick.

The League should find a way to outlaw the way the Flames play. And the Penguins. Make icing a penalty. If a team pointlessly grinds for 20 seconds build a contraption to swallow all players into the ice and have them reappear 20 seconds later.

This game is only 1-0 but it feels like we're down 5-0. I guess the bright side is we still have a chance to salvage something out of this mess.

Flames are playing very well and not giving us anything. Of course that has to be remembered too.

Actually, I’m not sure why I’m bothering but I’ll say it.

They have insane PDO, have won against the West a grand total of one time, only seem to make it out of regulation if it’s a shut out (they don’t win one goal games) and outside of Mangiapane who has predictably started regression to the mean, can hardly score any goals.

They will make the playoffs only because the Pacific will end up being as mediocre as everyone was thinking it would despite the hot start of the Kings and Ducks (who are both starting to look like the teams they were expected to be).
