The Rangers won 60 games last season.
What's the plan there? Do they really think Semien and Seager are going to vault that team into 90+ wins? Do Semien and Seager think that too, or do they just not give a #### about winning and it's all about money for them and that's it?
Honest questions.
I mean I guess the off season isn't over yet, but as of right now they are probably trotting John Gray out as their opening day starter, and their outfield right now is Garcia, Calhoun and Billy Mckinney lol

Prior to the signings the Texas Rangers had 4 players under salary for a combined 13 million

In fact, their retained salary on Odor was much then their committed 2022 payroll.
They effectively did what the Jays did 4 years ago - Clear out all salary, trade what you can for prospects and reset.
If you assume they can have a salary in the 150 million range they can still sign another 60 million worth of players. If Seager, Gray and Siemen are worth 12-14 WAR, they really need to pick up another 15 wins throughout the rest of the roster and other signings to be a 90 win team.
Plus they dont have to win next year but start building like the Jays did
