I totally respect that, personal line for everyone. I think that his outlook will be determined by his own attitude. If he's willing to change past behavior there are lots of supports to help, personally think he deserves a chance and I'd be fine if that is with the Flames personally. Have seen people with way worse pasts reform with help from agencies like John Howard. If he's not contrite and he does the same act, he'll stay in the AHL, be bought out and end up in some second rate Russian league team out in Novosibirsk or something next year IMO.
I do have a little bit of an issue with the like of Logan Couture and some of the other Sharks attitude towards Kane this fall, I think it is more about him being different from the traditional hockey culture norms than his actual transgressions. Dunno how many guys I've seen over the years do terrible indefensible things and have their team close ranks around them or at least say they hope they get support. I wouldn't even know where to start there have been so many and I know people will immediately say it's different because ______. Probert, Gilmour, Ciccarelli, McTavish and many many others come to mind.
