I'm pretty sure the only thing I was comparing was the fact that McGrattan was given another chance when he had hit rock bottom.
That's a pretty aggressive stance to hold about someone you don't know personally. He's had his issues and I don't agree with any of the negative things I've heard about him but I wouldn't call him a piece of garbage just yet.

Rock bottom for McGrattan was not the same as the rock bottom Kane has hit so like I said not really comparable.
One drank excessively and did drugs, and one did a lot of bad things and illegal things.
I just don't think race has anything to do with him being hated. He did that all on his own.
Some of the most hated people in hockey are almost always white.
