Most nhl elite forwards coming out of the NHL averaged about 2 points per game in their second ohl seasons. Wright's struggles seems odd.
In Wright's D-2 season, when he was 15, he put up a PPG of 1.14. Now, in his Draft year, his PPG is 1.22. You're right, he should be dominating a lot more. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but scoring seems to be down a lot in the CHL, as 1qqaaz stated above.
