Not just does he have a cap hit of $6.25 million for two more seasons after this one, but he has base salaries higher than that ($7 million and $8 million). That means that even if a team was willing to take the cap hit to reach the floor while rebuilding, they would be paying a lot of real money to do so. I doubt there are too many owner that would want to do that when there are cheaper options out there.
