To a team that needs a backup that has experience and has won a couple stanley cups.
Look around the league at backup prices. A lot make in the $3 million dollar range.
And I don't think Ottawa would need to give up assets at all just take a contract back.
Would you rather have Koskinen or Murray as your backup or even starter?
I know I'd take Murray every time. Heck I'd take him over Mike Smith.
I agree he hasn't been good but I think he is till league average at the least.
