One of the things that gives me pause about whether to bother upgrading to the Elite Series 2 is the fact that the battery is built-in. The other thing? My OG Elite controller is still going strong. I've already worn out the rubber on two sets of the concave thumb-sticks, but I cannot complain at all about the controller itself.
