Yeah, I think it is about the former team. Also, Sutter is probably worried about the 'first game after a road trip' as well, and thinks (correctly) that Zadorov is the more stable choice for this situation.
Valimaki wasn't good last game. But it was his first game after a lengthy dry spell, and he wasn't terrible either, so it's unlikely that Sutter would judge him harshly for it.
I expect we see more of Valimaki this weekend.
