The toughness of the road trip is difficult to argue for. So many have only been citing the kilometres travelled. No one is citing the quality of competition and if they are they are missing points such as injuries and roster complications most of which the flames have avoided this year.

I haven’t seen even one person cite KM travelled. Games played within a short time span? Yes. Back to backs? Yes. Teams with winning records? Yes. Last year PO teams? Yes.
Every team has injuries. You take your opponent as you find them. And most of those depleted rosters still had their best players. If Calgary was missing Lewis, Richardson and Zadorov we wouldn;t complain about our “depleted roster”.
