I’m not rewriting my prediction. I’m standing by it still despite it being more tenuous now than when I said it.

And not all people agree I’d argue. Many people are just happy to pile on. It’s fine. I looked crossly at the sacred cow.

The toughness of the road trip is difficult to argue for. So many have only been citing the kilometres travelled. No one is citing the quality of competition and if they are they are missing points such as injuries and roster complications most of which the flames have avoided this year. I will take the wait and see approach about the records of New Jersey, Buffalo, philly, Ottawa, Detroit at the end of the year before I use those wins as any sort of galvanizing effort.
