kudos for standing your ground for sure, and I agree its a long season
however (while its true we have benefited I guess a few times specifically from covid depleted lineups- although I'm not convinced Ottawa would have been that different regardless), by many metrics the Flames schedule has been around average in toughness and some (Sagarin) have it has above average- probably mostly due to the road games, the back to backs etc
one thing that does seem to be true is that the schedule by almost any measure will be 'easier' from here on out- however this is the Flames and in other years we know that is not a good thing necessarily - so can only hope this group (with this coach) will be different
