This season, our best players have been out playing the other teams best players -- this obviously leads to a higher chance of winning the games. But that not only includes our top players (Johnny, Lindholm, Tkachuk, Tanev, Markstrom), but also the new wave of younger players (Eatbread, Andersson, Kylington, Vladar).

Maybe it’s just my way of consoling myself because we don’t have a McDavid type player, but I love that the ‘top player’ definition on this team is so difficult to define because there are a ton of really solid but different players. Any given game, at least a few of them are feeling it
