Perhaps Treliving is willing to try something different given the track record of his past moves. We have a coach with one year left on his deal after this season and no idea how long he wants to keep doing this. We have a ton of new contracts that need to be negotiated before next year. This is a win now situation seems to me.
If this team keeps playing as well as they are and his only in season move is to bring in fringe NHLers for depth, expect more incessant whining and rightly so.
