He looked like his game was getting better at his natural position of centre, but his faceoffs were bad and he was sent back to the wing, where he is less effective.
He has all of the raw talent to be a Lindholm-lite, but his confidence is in the absolute gutter right now. I think that fans and management were/are hoping that he turns into a very high end third line centre that can play up and down the lineup in a pinch. Super valuable, non expensive guy, but he has hit a stone wall.
