Markstrom was supposed to shut them out - he did.
By the standards of an elite NHL goalie, that was a pretty easy shutout.
The coach said so.
“Didn’t have much work until the 3rd period, very few chances other than power play, that’s what he’s supposed to do: make saves and cover pucks.”
And Darryl didn’t even open with “flawlessly executed” to describe his performance.

It certainly wasn't the toughest night but supposed to shut them out? Markstrom is the first goalie to shut them out this season.
