I hope some people had the opportunity to tune into Calgary Planning Commission. If you haven't it will be on a video archive soon and I'll provide the link. It will give you a lot of insight on the design, what went into the review. It's worth your time.

I would add that the sightlines are very good. New arenas are pushed back quite a bit.
We will at least get more leg room in the new building. Bit the actual view will be farther away comparing row by row. And the fact our 2nd bowl hovers over the first 13 rows of the lower bowl will make the upper rows further back in the new rink.
