If you lose Gaudreau, and Tkachuk accepts his $9M golden parachute to UFA, why are you not immediately selling Lindholm to the highest bidder while he makes $4.6M and is under contract until 2024?
If you keep 13 and 19, presumably you want to keep Lindholm as well for the bulk of both those deals, which is going to cost you.
Extending Gaudreau @ $11M, Tkachuk @ $10M and Mangiapane @ $6M means you're paying $27M for three wingers, only one of whom is a top-20 player.
If/when you do extend Lindholm, you're paying $35.5-37.5M for four players that couldn't get anything done when they cost $14-16.5M less.
This is what happens when your organization has no long-term plan or vision for what they want to accomplish.
