I feel just like Stone the acquiring team was in love with an average prospect and the deal will blow up in their face. “I can’t believe they put Brannstrom in the deal” 3 years later Brannstrom is meh and the Sens are rumored to trade him while Stone is the captain in Vegas. I think the Eichel trade will look even worse in hindsight.

Big difference is they had to trade Eichel. There was no way he was staying in Buffalo.
