For a team that has not won in the first round in 6 years and missed the playoffs last year I think walking your best player to free agency is unacceptable. Brad gave Johnny all the leverage and he squeezed Johnny last negotiation when he had the leverage. As of right now this situation is all on Brad.

Well, as one of the people who said he should trade him before MNTC, I think you are misunderstanding my "hindsight" comment. What I'm saying is that, if JG gave Treliving the wrong impression and/or if there was no reasonable trade, you can't blame him for that. I'm just pushing back on "100%". it's never that black and white.
