Well, I mean Vietnam is half the land size of Alberta, but has roughly 3 times the population of Canada. It's pretty justifiable to have cell towers even in remote areas when your land mass is so much smaller, and population density, even in remote areas is most likely far greater than Canada. Canada has huge chunks of land that don't have any people living on.
