Yes, I believe Lanny is correct. They were viewing footage on a screen presented by the prosecution during Rittenhouse' testimony. They needed to position a tv screen so everyone could see what the prosecution was showing, the jury, the lawyers and of course the defendant whom the prosecution was questioning about the footage. There was absolutely nothing nefarious about what happened.
