I rented a Tesla Model 3 recently so I'll share my experience:
Pros:
- I found the credit card key to be very handy to use
- super fun car to drive
- very nice not having to worry about gas prices
- the side cameras were really cool
- tons of acceleration and overall a quiet ride
- I didnt use the app as it was just a rental but it looks easy to use
Cons:
- I don't live anywhere near a supercharge station so it would be inconvenient to use one
- it was weird to not have to use the brake and it took a while to get used to. With a Tesla you just take your foot off the gas and it slows down
- I plugged in the car overnight (regular household garage plugin) and it only gave me 20%, so I'd need to figure that out
- I just rented mine but if I were to buy I would be paying a big premium for it, even with the federal rebate
