Tarasenko is a line driver. He would pot 50 playing with Johnny and is not happy in St. Louis, even though he is playing well.
Perunovich is leading the AHL in scoring as a defenseman. He could make Hanifin or Valimaki available for a big trade in the offseason, and has top four written all over him.
I only broach this because Tkachuk was so vocal during his brothers negotiations, but so quiet now. Dude makes me nervous.

Why would the ship have sailed? If the Blues were interested last summer, I don’t see why they wouldn’t be now or in the upcoming offseason. Unless of course Tkachuk being ~4 months older has had significant effect on his value. I don’t understand the logic here.
Generally speaking, I find it somewhat simplistic for people to continue to trot out ‘Tkachuk to St. Louis’.
If the Flames move Tkachuk, I’m sure there would be several teams interested, and they should take the best offer. That said, the Flames have been pretty consistent in their response to Tkachuk rumours. That being the rumours are horse sh*t.
I wouldn’t go so far as to say there’s no chance Tkachuk is moved, but I would say it’s less likely that he is.
