Well, he and Putin are tied at the hip. But yeah. If he’d come out full throated in favour of the vaccine and mandates his followers would line up and there’d be very little argument about it.
It’s funny, way back when he was downplaying the pandemic he said the then undeveloped vaccine would simply end things and be the silver bullet. But when the rollout didn’t happen under his watch, and since he’d already been at war with the medical community over masks and hydroxychloroquine, etc, the division was ready-made.
