I think that is a pretty fair assessment and a reasonably good track record. The fails are obvious and possibly more impactful than the wins, but even those were at least somewhat justifiable at the time. Brouwer was supposed to bring grit and leadership with a few goals. Didn't happen. Neal was a perennial 20 goal scorer, adding some pop to a line up that desperately needed it. Didn't happen.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
