2022 Blue Jays Off-Season Thread
I figure with Semien declining the qualifying offer, good time to start a thread to what posters think the Jays will ultimately do.
Personally, I can totally seeing them pursue a veteran pitcher for starters. With today the organization looking at the open practice at Verlander, I'm sure they would like that rock veteran to calm the nerves. I don't think he'll sign up north but it would be good. I'd like to see Joe Kelly as the set up man, especially considering LA declined to give him a qualifying offer.
Fielding, I have no idea where they look towards. Too many pieces rumored. Ultimately I'm hoping they load up on pitching as I'm pretty happy with the lineup even if Semien is gone.
Side note: today I got tickets for the opening day. Ticketmaster advance code: "pitch".
