Generalizing isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Being able to analyze and use information and to identify trends and themes is an essential tool in critical thinking

I’m not saying every Republican to a person believes that was okay, but guess what? The party leadership didn’t stand up against it, and it was accepted by the voters, not a deal breaker.

There are a lot of issues these days with people grouping together and doing things that are wrong

Normalizing immoral behaviour at the highest level pretty darn likely encourages it elsewhere in society
