Irrelevant after how they’ve played through eleven games but this board just can’t seem to get enough of arguing about the GM.
I think it’s fair to say some people’s minds are made up about his performance and will probably take more than 11 games to change it. 11 playoff games might be different I suppose.

I think some people like to trot out Treliving right after losses and not give him much credit after wins, but what really matters is now it appears they have got it right. Treliving himself admitted that he needed to be better, and that "we need Darryl" when he hired him. In some cases, it is a learning process and obviously, Brad wants to win. Darryl is an excellent piece to the puzzle because he has been there, he has won at this level and he has done it with teams that have struggled. Hopefully, some hardline fire BT posters will back up a bit and give Brad a bit of rope; Especially now that he has identified the right coach for the team. Let's take the focus off Brad let him do his job and enjoy the Flames coming out of the gate. The Flames are playing like they are on a mission and they have some young emerging players. Lots to be excited about.
