I leave for Chicago tomorrow as well, going to the ball games on Friday.

Best bar in the city is Big Bar at the Hyatt on E Wacker.

As for the United Center, the neighbourhood is a hole. Get in, watch the games, and disappear quickly. If you haven't been to a ESPNzone, I'd do that, if your into shopping at all, Michigan Ave north of the river is about the best there is.

Yes you can smoke indoors there ... could as of last November anyway.
